123 are pleased to be one of only two London stockists of Australian born designer ALANNAH ASHWORTH. 


Influenced by the noir styling of the 1950s and 1960s, Alannah looks to the past as a means of inspiration. Ashworth states of her work: "My designs are a little bit idiosyncratic, a little bit romantic and a lot of me". We love the bold use of monocrome and polka dots- perfect for a warm summer afternoon spent sipping pimms in the park.

This Saturday, St Anne's Church at Windmill Street will play host to the Soho Food Feast. Curated by Margot Henderson (one half of Arnold & Henderson), the Soho Food Feast combines a good cause- fundraising for the Soho Parish School- with food so good you will drool over the memories for years to come. Patrons from bars, pubs and restaurants such as the French House, Terroirs, the Groucho, and Henderson's own Rochelle Canteen will be celebrating Soho in all it's culinary excellence.

One of our favourite local designers, Coco Fennell, is now stocking at 123.


 We have been obsessing over her beautifully fitted, silk crepe dresses for a long time and are pleased to have a selection of her flirty and feminine printed dreses on our womenswear floor.

Coco Fennell is designed, illustrated and sampled all around the corner in Shoreditch and produced in small runs at an independent little factory in Delhi.

Coco, using luxurious crepe fabrics, produces dresses that aim to flatter all shapes and sizes. 

With a broad selection of colours and prints, Cocos dresses allow the customer to decide how understated or unusual they would like the dress to be. They are also versatile in the way that they can be worn, dressed-up or casually.

Working with local London-based illustrator Jennifer Pitchers to make the limited edition pieces, Coco seeks inspiration from children’s illustrations and 1960’s dress patterns.

Vauxhall Art Car Boot Fair

  This sunday sees the annual Vauxhall Art Car Boot Fair come to Brick Lane. There will be over 60 pitches with work by Bob & Roberta Smith, Gavin Turk, Damien Hirst, Polly Morgan, Tracey Emin, Pam Hogg and our shop's very own jewellers Bert & Carrie Reichardt.

  You'll be able to go down and buy artwork at really affordable prices...we've got our eye on the £40 tax disc holder by Matthew Barney which is part of a limited edition of 500. Entry is £3, and there'll be a whole host of entertainments from bands to human snow-shakers. It opens from 12-6 tomorrow (that's Sunday the 19th of June) at Brick Lane Yard (on the corner with Buxton Street) so get down early and grab a bargain!

Xiomara Orriols is one of our favourite up-cycling craftswomen, creating all her trinkets from beautiful vintage fragments.

She just dropped in tell us she's taking part in Jewel East at Old Spitalfields market as part of London Jewellery Week!

Jewel East is set to be "an innovative showcase of exciting new jewellery designers, fabulous costume and vintage jewellery at the historic London site"

She'll be exhibiting and selling her creations on the Friday (10th) and Sunday (12th).

A little bird told us there's a jewellery runway on the Friday as well....
